We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

To afford Disabled Veterans the same rights as Retired Veterans.

Created by S.K. on October 01, 2016

Each branch of the military has a certain point of tenure for its members. There are rank, or time in service obligations, that if met, mean that the service member has earned the right to retire. In some cases, however, service connected disabilities do not allow the service member to fully retire. These Veterans are classified as 'Disabled Veterans', but do not have the rights of those who fully retire. I believe that if a service member has reached the point of tenure, they should be regarded as 'Medically Retired' and full benefits be allowed to them.
