Congressional Reform Act of 2013
• Congress shall NOT be exempt from any laws imposed on the American people.
• Term Limits: A member of congress is limited to 24 years of consecutive or non-consecutive terms in the House and/or the Senate.
• Compensation: Senators and Congressmen will receive compensation of $500.00 per day for each day the House and Senate are in session with adjustments made in accordance with the Consumers Price Index.
• Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund are moved to the Social Security system immediately and retired senators and congressmen will receive Social Security based on their contributions.
• Health Care: Congress loses their current health care insurance and participates in Medicare, Medicaid and Private Insurance
