To finance and fund DNA testing for Americans of African descent. This petition is an attempt to help African Americans who can not afford to trace their roots. One of the biggest problems that face most people is a sense of identity. Most races and cultures can trace their ancestors down to a town of orgin in another country. The furthest most African Americans can go is what plantation or slave ship we came off. I believe this will help America heal from slavery and help all citizens know who we really are.
