After negative debt is paid off it will be removed from your credit.

Created by P.N. on February 26, 2014

Good credit is needed to obtain a good job, mortgage, and insurance. Right now if you become delienquent in an account and it goes into collections it will post on your credit. It will remain on your credit for the next 7 to 10 years regardless if you pay off the debt. I petition that this administration change the law and force collections to be removed after they are paid off. This will encourage people to pay off the debt and will help to build back up the consumers credit, allowing for future purchases and employment.
