At the age of 16 Foster care children should be eligible to get signed out by a stable parent/family member.

Parents sometimes may not be as stable as other parents so there children go into the Foster Care system. The parents get one chance to fix things within weeks or months, but it may take years. At the age of 18 the child is eligible to sign themselves out but by then the parent would've missed almost a quarter of there child's life.I think at the age of 16 that the parents should get a second chance with their child if they are working and stable and believe that they can take care of there child that they should be able to sign them out.
