The reason for the petition is to allow children at the age of sixteen to be able to work legally at any store or company. At the age of sixteen you began to get involved in high school. High school is a very memorial moment in a persons life and also quite expensive. So, when the legal working age is brought down, it will open a bigger window to a more memorial high school experience. The students will be able to have more money things like grade night, cap and gown, class ring, and senior shirts and sweaters. Not many people can afford a lot of those things so being able to have a job at a younger age will give them a bigger opportunity to have a more successful high school senior year.
