On Tuesday, June 18th, 2013, we lost an aggressive and fair reporter and activist who doggedly pursued issues like political and military corruption, job fairness and living wages, corporate greed, and affordable (or free) and top health care for all Americans.
Allegedly, his car suddenly went out of control, burst into flames, and the engine exploded from inside the car, and witnesses say he crossed an embankment/median doing over 100 mph, all for no apparent reason.
Many say his car appeared to have the characteristics of someone who's on-board vehicle computer systems were likely taken over and someone caused him to crash. Those on-board systems are allegedly very "hackable" and vulnerable to wireless and direct commandeering.
Hastings, a Polk award winner, deserves justice.
