Aggressively pressure BOTH Senate and House to host a website similar to "We the People."

Created by R.A. on April 25, 2012

An online petition system for both House and Senate is long overdue. We applaud the Obama administration's efforts to engage citizens, but if anyone should receive petitions from the population more than the White House, it is Congress.

All too often, citizens call their representatives only to be answered by a staffer. When the phone call ends, citizens have no way to know if their request will be addressed.

The details regarding how such a website would function could be ironed out later, but essentially an online Congressional petition website should compel responses from House and Senate leaders or the relevant committee chairs.

Help improve transparency and public trust in Congress by demanding they create an online petition website to We the People!
