Aggressively pursue development of MIT's DRACO antiviral drug, which is effective against all viruses tested so far.

In 2011, The MIT Lincoln Lab released results from trials of an antiviral therapy known as DRACO(Double-stranded RNA Activated Caspase Oligomerizer). The drug was tested against 15 different viruses, including HIV, the common flu, H1N1, dengue, and polio. It effectively killed all of infected cells and did not harm any non-infected cells.

Viruses cause cells to produce double-stranded RNA which is not found in mammalian cells. The drug works by attaching only to dsRNA and then triggering apoptosis, or cell suicide.
