Unemployment is an issue that cannot be resolved by any one entity. From the side of the people, they are unable to find jobs that they are qualified. From the side of the companies that have jobs available, they are unable to locate qualified candidates in many cases. This is because a typical job posting seeks candidates that have significant experience and training. The problem here is that those candidates that they are looking for already are employed in most cases, and the only way to get the position filled is to pay a higher salary.
This petition aims to have the government subsidize intensive training programs in companies to fill vacancies satisfactorily. It also aims to require companies to modify their staff organization to accommodate these trainees.
