It was a tsunami that caused this overwhelming and long term damage. Supporting them is a wise move from a national security standpoint. It would strengthen our ties political to that side of the world without being in direction opposition to any other side. It shows we directly are a force to be reckoned with not just when it comes to preventing terrorism but also in the fight towards human dignity, recovery, and nobility. Having suffered the effects of a nuclear weapon, and being the only nuclear power to swear off using them completely, we can ask no more of them. This move openly and boldly displays, once again, that we are here as an aid should our comrades in arms have to face battle.
