Aid the plight of Rohingya refugees

Created by S.K. on May 18, 2015

The Rohingya refugees have been stranded in boats for months without reprieve. Aid groups, according to Huffington Post, have reported 6,000 refugees-if not more- escaping religious persecution in Rohingya and poverty in Bangladesh.
Malaysian and Indonesian authorities have refused the entry of these refugees into their country. Thailand has provided some aid to the refugees but momentary aid is not sufficient.
We humbly ask the U.S. government to put more pressure on the countries to allow the entry of the refugees onto their territories. Additionally we ask for aid to be sent to the refugees as they await entry.
