It is our feeling that the federal government should aid by streamlining the process to permit and certify the safety of the Jordan Cove Energy Project's proposed LNG shipping facility. This facility would be located on the Southern Oregon Coast which has been hamstrung for decades by environmental impact on its natural resource based economy. Coos County was founded on timber and fishing and both have been economically devastated by the endangered species act. This facility will create jobs with minimal long term impact on the environment and allow the US to combat a looms trade deficit. Please give us a hand up instead of a hand out. Thank You.
