Discontinue the decline of 50+ year old losing all their savings or becoming homeless the highest rate of unemployment the length of time is much longer, according to quite a few articles.
Help them to get jobs by not allowing discrimination where there is now allowing temporary jobs to count on unemployment insurance. Support them by pushing for employment of this age group, give a benefit to employers for hiring the 50+.
They do not want to burden their families or the government, they are more than willing to work and want to. They have the knowledge let them use it; let them wear their pride with heads held up.
Support them before this country is overburden with elderly walking the streets, begging for food and become more of a burden.
