We often hear about how our nation is under attack from remote "cyber" attacks, but often fail to realise the simple solution is often the best. Disconnecting these computers from the internet(Airgaping) is a far more effective method at keeping attacks away. There is no reason any of these networks would ever need access to the internet and the added security is worth any minor inconveniences it would cause.
