impose a limit on the amount of time companies can have customers wait to speak with a representative.

Created by D.M. on December 17, 2015

Companies that take customer calls are notorious for excessive wait times. Customers can't do anything about this, and companies sometimes use this to discourage customers from calling. This wastes Americans' time and creates frustration.

Companies should be required to get customer calls to a human representative, when requested, within 15 minutes or less.

Furthermore, requesting a human representative should also be easier, rather than going through ten or more minutes of options that don't pertain to customers' needs.
