All active duty military must be allowed to open carry a handgun at all times.

With this petition I request that all active duty military be allowed to open carry a handgun at all times. Members of the military may carry any caliber of handgun.
Reserves and National Guard may only open carry while on active duty orders. AGR military members will be recognized as active duty and therefore be allowed to open carry a handgun at all times .
The purpose for this bill is to protect our U.S. Servicemembers against any acts of terrorism that may happen to them. Examples include: the British soldier taken out of his car and hacked to death by axes, the Ft. Hood shooting, and the recent Naval base shooting.
The members of our military wear uniform that is just as much of a target as a Police uniform and they should have the ability to protect themselves.
