It is the fundamental right of all children to enjoy their neighborhoods and parks. This right has been taken away from our children.Our streets and playgrounds are unsafe for our children to ride their bikes,play catch, or just play hide and seek.Most of these activities were taken for granted and enjoyed by millions of americans for many past generations.No longer! We as parents try to explain that "It's not safe out their, someone might take you". Shame on us, under OUR watch we have let this travesty of "American Ideals" and "Way of Life" go by the wayside. Because of what I ask? Fear! We as leaders of our society our so consumed by important issues like, security, jobs, and party politics, we have not even secured our neighborhood streets and playgrounds!
