All companies doing business with any person who lives in the United States of America must contact that person if they are on an automatic renewal plan. They must contact the person either by email or by USPS 60 days prior to the contract being automatically renewed and they must give the person either a number to call or an email to write to. They cannot renew the contract unless the person responds that they do, indeed,want the contract renewed. If the person does not respond to the renewal notice, the contract is automatically cancelled.If the person doing business with the company does, indeed, want to renew the contract but did not receive the notice, they have 30 days to renew the contract once they find out the contract was cancelled.
