For all elected officials to pay insurance and their own taxes. Once out of office no more money. Pay their own way.

Created by B.H. on January 02, 2013

To save millions of dollars to balance the budget. Once out of office they should not continue to receive money. Make them pay into social security like normal people do. They should also pay for their insurance. Why do they get welfare? If all of this was cut out of our budget we wouldn't have the financial mess we do. Also ask the foreign countries to pay back the money they owe us. Quit giving until we have a surplus. If an elected official gets retirement money after he leaves office then runs again and gets elected why do we keep paying the retirement money. Case in point Governor Terry Brandstad in Iowa.
