Keeping dental and vision coverage as separate coverage from health insurance is illogical. If we are lucky, most of us are born with teeth and eyes. Dental hygiene and vision should not be treated as a luxury item. Untreated dental hygiene leads to other more serious health issues. Untreated vision issues disguises other dangerous and expensive health issues, can lead to a poor educational experience, and is a dangerous to the public at large. All health insurance should, at a minimum cover all the body parts we are born with, such as teeth and eyes.
