All meetings of elected officials on any matter not dealing specifically with national security should be televised.

I propose that all meetings of elected officials that do not deal specifically with matters of national security be televised or video-taped. In order for the American people to vote wisely, we must be aware of what is going in our government. These recordings should be available to any American citizen upon request.
Since the trust of the American people in their government has eroded to the point that we cannot believe what we are being told, a recording of any meeting will reveal the truth of what happened. Only in this way can we know for sure which of our elected officials are committed to representing the people.
