When the time came for these Veterans to be discharged in 2002-2016 it was hard for them to transition or receive assistance. I have noticed that a lot of Veterans during that era are renters paying top dollar for shacks in communities where there are so many tax liens or abandoned homes. Why not give one of these homes to a Veteran. If receiving benefits they can make the homes great again and have something to call their own instead of renting. Greedy corporations are buying these same homes cheap and selling them high. Wouldn't it be worth while to give our Veterans a real chance a fresh start?
