All retail stores to be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas! There will be exceptions for those who sell fuel for those traveling and restaurants.
This is a time for American families to give thanks and spend time together. This is not a new idea it is actually getting back to the traditions we all value.
Corporate America continues to "nibble" away at time spent with family. Open at midnight, then at 7pm. When will it stop? It destroys a national tradition!
These holidays are not about financial gain,and in some cases greed. We have gotten away from their true meaning, and this is an effort to reverse that trend.
Stores will still make sales, we will still have "Black Friday", but we will honor these holidays in the way they should be. Families should always come before anything else.
