I am currently in highschool, I am about to go into the real world not knowing how to make a resume, do my own taxes, fill out a loan, or budget money, but if you want me to figure out the area of a cone I can. Does anyone see a problem with that. I sure you. It's time for us to learn real world everyday things. This isn't trying to cut math out of our lives, but we need to Learn how to spend money properly. Using the trigonometry will not help me while I'm running my own job. We need to teach our generation and the future generations the stuff they need to be able to survive in this cold world.
