I live in Oregon where I have met people with certain various afflicting diseases in which they have only found relief through the use of marijuana. However I am originally from a state in which marijuana is not legal. In fact it is so frowned upon still that let's say a mother of 3 where to use marijuana for an ailment. Let's say her neighbor saw her do it and reports her to Child Protective Services. She would have her children taken from her and put into foster care. Even though she was not harming her children they would be taken. If you get caught with marijuana it's hard to get a job. People who grow marijuana get less time in prison than pedophiles. Situations such as these arise far too often and should be corrected. Marijuana is medicine, not a drug.
