As a tax paying citizen who puts (x) amount of money into our government, don't you think that we should be informed as to where our money is going? Sure a lot goes to education, construction, roads, etc but what about the money that is possibly going towards "secret" or classified military and non-military projects and research. Some classified projects are funded without the use of tax dollars, so those could be considered "off the table" if this were from a deal point of view, but what about those that are using the money we all worked hard to make? If the government is not able to be open with the citizens in which they govern, how can there be trusting bond between the two?
