The USCG cannot perform its functions using glorified fishing boats. We must give our nation's defenders the proper tools to properly do their jobs. We request that funding be appropriated to build two modern Gerald Ford class aircraft carriers and six Virginia class submarines for uses by the US Coast Guard.
