I have long been a supporter of the Suffolk County Police Department, the New York Police Department, along with law enforcement and military personnel both domestically and overseas. And like any patriotic American, I have been a supporter of civil rights even longer.
In this regard, I believe that the great men and women of our local, county, and state police would benefit from mandatory, state-of-the-art body cameras, as would our patriotic citizens of these United States.
Moreover, in an effort to further our nation's ongoing commitment to democracy, I HOPE to see this CHANGE be fully implemented and operational on or before December 31st, 2015.
