Allow “No” signatures on these Whitehouse petitions to provide meaningful feedback to the Administration.

Created by T.T. on January 17, 2013

The Whitehouse should have better feedback on a petition than just a threshold within a time period. Allowing “No” signatures will better speak the voice of the people in helping the Whitehouse to decide which petitions to address. With “No” votes, the Whitehouse will be better able to address the will of the people.

Individuals should be able to express there vote in support or not. The current thresholds, by themselves, are insufficient for quorum of the status quo; because, currently abstentions are not distinguished from disapproval. The real participatory membership is not considered under the current petition policies.
