Many young people make bad choice especially while in college. This petition is to ask the governement to allow a 2nd change for a person that is a non-violent convicted felon, and has not had another incident for 3 year. As it stands today, if a 18 year old is a convicted felon for selling drugs, that person has a hard time finding employment. If that person have a college degree and a felon, the situation cancels each other. If the felon is due to financial thief, and it caused the company less than $50,000 lost, and it was as least 3 years ago, give the person another chance.
Allow them to enlist in the military, be employed by the government, or not allow this information to be available to businesses so they can be employed.If this is not done, how would the felon survive? Prison?
