Allow the 300 MPG Volkswagen XL1 into the United States without any special-interest, oil-company restrictions.

The Volkswagen XL1, a car recently made which gets over 300 MPG, has been denied entry of the United States due to being "too efficient." The official reason, which has been the cover story for why the XL1 will not appear in the U.S., claims the XL1 does not meet "crash standards," when one can already purchase a very similar Volkswagen model without the highly efficient engine inside the U.S. (which happens to meet crash standards.) The real reason, however, is that the Big-Oil Companies of America have decided that this car is too efficient, eating away at their already enormous profits.
