The issue with this election is that we are constantly tasked to pick the lesser of two evils or to pick the one sided opposition, I believe that we should open the debates for president as long as they have 1% or more of the vote. As just being the candidate for Dem or Rep gives you a large dedicated voter base to start with. I believe by allowing more than 2 candidates be on stage we can open the floor to having a more democratic government and allow the people to truly choose someone who represents their real ideals instead of dismissing a 3rd party vote as a wasted one as Obama/Michelle/Bill/Hillary have all done in fear of the voters shifting to them over trump.
