This petition is to grant DD Form 2 ID cards to honorably discharged veterans who served in a combat zone during their enlistment. We have the opportunity to give back to those who served by allowing them continued and lifelong access to on base military facilities such as medical, dental, PX, BX, NEX, etc in similar fashion as to retired veterans. For medical and dental, unless receiving treatment for a service related disability, treatment would comply the individual's insurance or out of their pocket.
They put their lives on the line for our country and deserve continued thought. If colleges and universities can give special treatment to their alumni, we should do the same for our heroes.
Once a soldier/airman/marine/sailor, always a soldier/airman/marine/sailor.
