North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) is an agreement between Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. that encourages and promotes free trade including temporary labor mobility.
Trade NAFTA Dependent (TD) status is granted to a spouse and unmarried children (less than 21 years of age) of a lawfully admitted Trade NAFTA (TN) status holder.
Please amend regulations to allow accompanying children on TD status, who are allowed to study in the U.S., to be allowed to work in the U.S. during their school breaks (grades 9 – 12) including summer months following the graduation from high school.
