Allow Active Duty Military to choose their own insurance options.

We, the Undersigned believe Active Duty Military should be allowed to choose their insurance plan. Currently Active Duty military are forced to use TRICARE Prime, only allowing them to use Military Treatment Facilities and Military Hospitals under the care of their assigned Primary Care Provider.The only way an Active Duty Military Member can see a specialist for any medical reason is if their Primary Care Provider, usually a PA, feels there is it is absolutely necessary. When the Primary Care Provider does not feel further testing is necessary, the soldier is left with no other options. This has left many of our brave warriors have served their Country with honor and pride suffering, some even with life threatening ailments. Please allow our military to chose TRICARE Standard.
