Allow active duty military members the right to vote in federal, state, and local elections when stationed outside their home of record. Active duty military members are not allowed to vote in state elections unless they are a resident of the state they are staioned in. They must vote in their state of record by absentee ballot. This leaves us without a voice in local elections in the areas we are stationed at that we have a vested interest in such as election of school board members, passing of school funding bills, local sales tax bills, etc. If our children go to school in the local school district we should have a voice in the decisions that are made by the voting public.
