Active military and Veterans of our country, having traveled to foreign countries and engaged enemies of the state now find themselves stripped of their second amendment rights and capacity to protect themselves and their families from foreign threats that are now found on U.S soil. Local law enforcement, among other government agencies, are allowed to carry in both federal and state properties, as to protect themselves from criminals both on and off duty that may seek revenge. Veterans now face that threat due to and increased surge of foreign nationals residing in the U.S. Active military and Veterans deserve the same rights as law enforcement and other federal agencies in regards to conceal carry of firearms to protect themselves and family.
