As other states are currently allowing medical marijuana, I would like to see Alabama have the right to grow Hemp the male plant to use for industrial purposes. Hemp can make more bio-fuel than any other plant. It's easy to harvest and has several uses. It would be a good crop to get young adults back into farming. Lets create new jobs and it can all start with your vote. Lets make Alabama the first state to grow Hemp and use it's resources to better help our economy. Hemp the male plant has very low THC. Meaning it will not get you high. If farmed it would pollinate the other female plant grown illegally making them weak and not good to get high. It's a win win. Lets give it a try.
