To Allow All Adoptive Parents To Obtain a Copy of All Uncensored Records for Free on the Child They Have Adopted

In most States adoptive and pre-adoptive parents know very little about the background of the children that will be placed in their care. After adoption it can be impossible to obtain medical records on the parents or child pre-adoption. if records are available the are redacted or blacked out to protect the privacy of the birth family, often at the expense of the child being adopted. Imagine never knowing how tall your child might grow, if a parent or great grandparent had a history of breast or colon cancer. Imagine never really knowing if the Father or Mother of your child was an alcoholic or did drugs during birth. Now imagine this child may have also been molested while in care at a facility awaiting adoption. I am petitioning that as parents we have a right to know.
