Allow all American citizens to travel to Cuba under the same terms as to any other country.

Created by R.K. on May 10, 2013

American citizens are free to travel to every country in the world without restriction -- except for Cuba.

Cuba is still the only country in the world that U.S. citizens are in some way restricted - by their own government - from visiting. Travelling there is not illegal; the embargo applies to doing business in Cuba, including any "travel-related" transactions. And Americans have gradually come around on Cuba travel restrictions of any sort.

These restrictions make travel for most Americans complicated and expensive, and they limit the activities that citizens may undertake, by requiring licenses that are not required to visit any other country.

Ask the President and the Secretary of State to remove these onerous restrictions now.
