Allow all Americans ages 13-17 to attempt the U.S. citizenship test, and if they pass, allow them to vote.

I think that all Americans ages 13-17 who attempt and pass the U.S. citizenship test should be allowed to vote. If they go to the trouble of taking this test, they will be thoughtful about their voting choices. All Americans who are willing to think hard about who leads them should have a voice in this matter. Also, the earlier people begin voting, the more likely they will be to continue the practice after their eighteenth birthday.
Many young people will be happy to take the U.S. Citizenship Test in order to have the opportunity to decide who leads their country.
