Allow All Bureau of Prison employee which number approximately 38000 people, more Law Enforcement Jurisdiction

In Light of recent shootings in Colorado and Mass. It would be safe to say we need more Law Enforcement in public places. The United States has a huge untapped resource that is not being utilized to its fullest. The Bureau of prisons is the largest law enforcement agency within the Department of Justice with approximately 38000 employees. If we could expand the Jurisdiction beyond the walls of the prisons and allow the presence of more armed law enforcement personel
in the communities, we might discourage or at least lower the casualty rate from people who wish to Harm American citizens and their children. This may also discourage vigilante behavior from people who think their is not enough law enforcement.
