The Republicans are demanding that all of the Bush Tax Cuts be extended, allowing the 1% to continue to pay less. Rather than give in, President Obama should let all of the Bush Tax Cuts expire. We the 99% are willing to give up those cuts so that the 1% pays their fair share.
Since the taxes will go up, the 1% will start to put money back into their businesses. This means they will start hiring, purchasing and contracting so that the tax bill is lowered, rather than taking the profit out of the business.
