Allow all convicted Felons a chance! if person convicted guilty in Florida, should have the opportunity to seal/expunge

Created by S.H. on March 28, 2014

Florida statutes 943.0585- states that anybody who has been convicted guilty or adjudication withheld is NOT allowed to seal or expunge their record. This statute is holding back individuals who made mistakes as youth become someone in the future. GIVE CONVICTED INDIVIDUALS THE CHANCE TO GET SOME WHERE IN LIFE!! Its impossible for convicted felons to change their lifestyle if Florida doesn't give them a chance to do so, employers doing background checks deny these people regardless how long ago the charge was, schools don't allow convicted felons to enroll...etc. PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION IN HOPES TO FIND SOME RELIEF TO FELONS WHO WANT TO CHANGE THEIR LIVES!!
