Many veterans have given their body and health in defense of freedom. However, these same veterans are denied the ability to shop on military bases as they did when they were active duty. Stores on military installations tend to have lower prices and therefore can save vets money. Many of these veterans would have served until retirement, but were unable to do so because of service connected disability. As it stands now, if you are not active duty, reserve, retired or 100% service connected disabled the services are not available to you. Access to all of these privileges should be given to all service connected disabled veterans. This has the potential to ease some financial burden to service connected families barely scraping by.
