Allow all men and women of the Armed Forces voting rights.

Created by M.B. on August 06, 2014

Just recently I enlisted in the US Army at age 17(minimal age for military service with parents consent). The 26th Amendment guarantees the right to vote at 18. For those who are not aware of the circumstances for ratification of the the 26th Amendment, it was because men could be drafted and sent to war but couldn't elect their president. To me it makes sense that all military members should hold the right to vote being that they are willing to risk their lives to preserve our everyday freedoms that many take for granted. So in conclusion I would like to ask the Commander and Chief to grant all military members the right to vote.
