As many of you know, there are other parties other than the Democratic and Republican party. It is very important that the other parties are able to have their points across the the American people. All we ever hear on the debates are just the sides of the Republicans and Democrats. It is time for that to change and allow our system to be a presidential candidate much simpler.
For those who do not know our current system to become president, one needs a 5% vote in the last election or petition in every individual state, if the state allows, to get on the ballot. In debates, a candidate has to poll at at least 15% in 5 major national polls to get in.
I propose a plan to change this. Instead, there should be instead a .2% vote for the last election to be in the ballot as well as the debat
