allow all petitions on the whitehouse.gov site to be searchable regardless of the initial number of signatures on them.

Created by J.B. on October 29, 2011

We believe that limiting searchable petitions to those having 150 initial signatures is unfair to the Twitter community and presents an obstacle to freedom of expression on the Internet. By limiting the availability of petitions on public proposals in such a way, great ideas and suggestions are blocked before they can get a fair hearing.
We think that the 150 signature requirement is therefore unreasonable, as well as counterproductive to the nature of democracy and free speech.
