Allow all Post 911 combat veterans the ability to transfer their educational benefits to their children.

Created by J.M. on June 01, 2013

Urge Congress, the Senate, and the Obama administration to pass a law that will allow all Post 911 combat veterans with educational benefits such as the Montgomery GI Bill the ability to transfer their educational benefits to their children. Currently only military members with Post 911 GI Bill benefits are allowed to transfer their benefits to their children after they agree to serve additional years in the military. Passing this law will allow ALL service members that served in combat after 911 (OIF/OEF) and earned educational benefits the ability to transfer educational benefits to their children. This will provide fair and equal benefits for all the service members that served in combat after 911 and not just those with Post 911 GI Bill benefits. Help the children of those that served
